Church Windows Restoration
Church Restoration Update: Window Repairs Advancing

The repair work on our church windows is continuing.

The good news is the church will open for all Masses from Wednesday 11th February.

The stained glass windows at the eastern end are repaired and replaced. The western end are still in progress. The sandstone surrounding the windows is significantly deteriorated.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we continue this vital work to preserve the beauty of our church for generations to come.

Rebuild My Church – Stage 2

Following the successful completion of Stage 1 of the Diocese of Bathurst's Rebuild My Church initiative with our Parish Penitential Service during Advent, we are now entering Stage 2 this Lent.

What is the Parish Walking Together Team?

Each parish in our Diocese is forming a team of dedicated parishioners to engage in this ongoing journey of renewal. The Parish Walking Together Team (PWTT) will work alongside Fr Paul to:

  • Host our Parish Assembly later this year
  • Support the implementation of renewal initiatives
  • Guide our parish community through this process of spiritual growth

Who Should Join?

We are seeking parishioners who are:

  • Currently involved in parish ministry or service
  • Committed to supporting our parish's spiritual renewal
  • Able to participate in formation sessions during Lent

Formation Sessions

The Parish Walking Together Team will participate in four formation sessions to prepare for the Parish Assemblies. These sessions will include:

When: Four Monday evenings during Lent

  • 24 February
  • 3 March
  • 10 March
  • 17 March

Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Format: Zoom meetings including:

  • Light meal and prayer
  • Presentation by the Diocesan Walking Together Team
  • Discussion and reflection

Get Involved

If you feel called to be part of this important initiative, please contact our Parish Walking Together Team coordinator on Phone: 0427 871 590

We encourage interested parishioners to reach out this week to confirm your participation.

Together, let us walk in faith as we rebuild and renew our parish community.

Step Up, Serve Others:
Ministry Commitment for 2026

The life of our parish depends on the generous stewardship of your time and talent. As we look ahead to 2026, we are once again asking every parishioner to prayerfully consider how God is calling them to serve our community.

Over the next few weeks, we invite you to commit to ministry by either:

  • Reaffirming your current commitment to your existing ministry.
  • Exploring a new ministry that sparks your passion.
  • Doing both!

What is your call for 2026?
Whether it's reading Scripture, hospitality, visiting the sick, or helping with the website, your involvement makes a tangible difference.

Next Steps & Details:
Full information regarding available ministries and the sign-up process is published in the current bulletin and is also available here.
