3 Minute Retreat

3-Minute Retreats invite you to take a short prayer break right at your computer. Spend some quiet time reflecting on a Scripture passage.

Knowing that not everyone prays at the same pace, you have control over the pace of the retreat. After each screen, a Continue button will appear. Click it when you are ready to move on. If you are new to online prayer, the basic timing of the screens will guide you through the experience.

Planned Giving 2026

Without your financial support, we cannot continue to do what we are called by God to do—look after the pastoral life and outreach of our parishes, which is our most important ministry. To achieve this, we must meet everyday operational costs, including electricity, rates, salaries, rising insurance costs, and the ongoing maintenance of our beautiful church buildings and grounds.

Re-Committing to Our Mission

Over the next few weeks, we are asking all parishioners to commit or re-commit to Planned Giving by completing a new Giving Card. Accurate planned giving data allows the parish to responsibly budget for essential maintenance and repairs throughout the coming year.

    Relics of St Carlo Acutis: St Brigid’s Church in Dubbo will host a special visitation of the relics of the Patron Saint of the Internet on August 27th & 28th. Come reflect on his legacy and profound wisdom.

    Conversations on Life & Loss: Centacare and our Parish are offering a free, gentle four-session program on Saturday mornings in Mudgee starting late July. Come explore grief, spiritual care, and practical planning over a cuppa. Call the office to register.

    SMCS Class of 2016 Reunion: Save the date for the 10-year parish school reunion, taking place on Saturday, 28th November 2026.

    150 Years of St Malachy’s: Mark your calendar for Sunday, 6th December, for a special celebratory Mass and gathering marking a century and a half of our church in Rylstone.

    ? Volunteer Opportunity: Angelus Bell Ringer

    We are looking for a volunteer to join a roster to ring the Angelus bells at 12 noon in Mudgee. If you are available to help keep this beautiful tradition alive, please contact the Parish Office at 6372-2122.
