First Eucharist

First Holy Communion 2025 including First Reconciliation 2025

First Holy Communion (Eucharist) is unique among the sacraments as it is at the heart of our faith. For Catholics, the Eucharist, or Mass, is the most powerful way we encounter the real presence of Jesus Christ.

Our Eucharist programme at St Mary’s Parish includes a First Reconciliation programme. The programmes are Parish based, Family centred & School supported. You have the joy of being the first educators of your children in the gift of faith and our Parish offers support to you at this important time in your family’s life.

The Sacrament of First Holy Communion including a First Reconciliation programme will take place during Terms 3 and 4 in 2025. These Sacraments are for candidates that are in Year 3 or older and who have received the Sacrament of Baptism.

If you are considering the Sacrament of First Holy Communion including First Reconciliation for your child in 2025, then we would like you to register for the programmes and also extend to you a warm invitation to attend a Parent/Carer Information Session being held on Thursday 31st July at 12:30pm and Tuesday 5th August at 6:30pm, as part of the preparation for the sacramental journey of your child.
